Glimpse. Desire for a presence.
"Shake hands, pack your bags and desire for a presence. Slow down this closed entrance. Make a splendid impression. The machines are always coupled for an end command. They are nothing." -- Christopher Borrok, Cut-up. 1992.

The photographs from this collection are a meditation on the fragmentary nature of presence and the collision between external reality and the internal space of memory, daydreams, and the subconscious. The images are an invitation into the spaciousness of in-between moments taken from Borrok's own daily landscape and the poignancy of the normal. Glimpse considers what in a photograph can provide opportunity to engage with the familiar in a meaningful way, illuminating and embracing the interstitial moments that make up the majority of ones life.
